100 Years of Zlín Design

The project “100 Years of Zlín Design” maps the history and present of industrial design in the Zlín Region. The organizers aim was to highlight design as an important part of the history of Zlín, which celebrated 700 years since its first written mention. The main idea of the celebrations — emphasizing the great potential of all the people who historically created and continue to develop the city into its current form — led the organizers to the intention of highlighting creativity as one of the fundamental aspects of Zlín and its surroundings. The visual style refers to individual elements of Zlín's history, as well as to contemporary designers and manufacturing materials.
